Child Safety Standards

Effective August 10, 2026 · Published in accordance with applicable app store child safety standards policies and the law.

Bium ("we") maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This document sets out our published child safety standards.

1. No users under 18

• Bium is available only to people aged 18 and over.
• Age is confirmed at registration, and the app carries an 18+ rating on app stores.
• If we learn that someone under 18 has registered, we delete the account and related data without delay.
• Guardians who find a minor's account can write to dnjsvltmp@naver.com; we delete it immediately and reply with the outcome.

2. Prohibited conduct (zero tolerance)

The following are prohibited without exception. Violations result in immediate permanent suspension without prior warning, and referral to law enforcement.

• Creating, posting, storing, sharing, linking to, soliciting, or trading child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
• Any text, image, audio, or video that sexualises a minor — including real, drawn, and AI-generated material
• Grooming, or any attempt to build contact with a minor for sexual purposes
• Exchanging contact details, directing users off-platform, or proposing transactions for the purpose of child sexual exploitation
• Using or sharing coded terms, abbreviations, or slang used to access CSAM
• Sexual coercion, threats, or sextortion targeting a minor
• Child trafficking or facilitation of it

3. Preventive measures

1. Age gating — registration is limited to adults, and the 18+ store rating is maintained.
2. Automated filtering — posts, comments, messages, and image uploads are checked automatically, and flagged content is withheld from view.
3. AI safeguards — our AI conversation feature (ChanceBot) is designed not to generate sexual content involving minors or to respond to such requests.
4. No identifying details — posting real names, phone numbers, school names, or other identifying information is prohibited.
5. No off-platform funnelling — attempts to move users to other platforms or exchange contact details are prohibited and penalised.

4. Reporting and response

• In-app reporting — every post, comment, guestbook entry, direct message, and AI reply can be reported.
• Email reporting — reports can be sent to dnjsvltmp@naver.com at any time.
• Blocking — users can block any other user directly.
• Response time — child safety reports are treated as the highest priority and reviewed within 24 hours.
• Action taken — immediate removal of content, permanent account termination, preservation of evidence, and referral to law enforcement.

5. Legal compliance and reporting to authorities

We comply with child protection laws in the Republic of Korea and in the regions where the Service is offered. Where child sexual abuse or exploitation is confirmed or reasonably suspected, we report without delay to:

• Korean National Police Agency, Cyber Bureau 182 (ecrm.police.go.kr)
• Digital Sex Crime Victim Support Center, Korea (+82-2-735-8994)
• National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline, United States (report.cybertip.org)
• Any other competent authority in the user's jurisdiction

We preserve relevant records to the extent necessary and cooperate with law enforcement.

7. Changes to these standards

Any change to these standards is published on this website together with its effective date.
